Besides the obvious choice, there a few to consider. My favorite is "You're So Vain":
...Then you flew your Lear jet up to Nova Scotia To see the total eclipse of the sun...
Carly Simon probably was inspired by the eclipse of March 7, 1970. It passed over a much smaller portion of the U.S. than today's awesome event, but the path of totality of both eclipses did include Nova Scotia.

Saw these songs referenced on FB... but they're personal favorites too:
*Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine" *Paul Revere & The Raiders' "Mr. Sun Mr. Moon" *The Doors' "Waiting For The Sun"

The Police "Invisible Sun" seems appropriate.

On the day of the eclipse, the warehouse where I work was playing B105.7 (Indianapolis' main classic hits/listen-at-work yadda yadda station). To commemorate the rare event (Indianapolis was in the path of totality, mind you), the station began each hour with various cover versions of "Total Eclipse Of The Heart". Seriously, the station dug up every cover version they could find! Although AFAIK, only Bonnie Tyler and Nikki French had Hot 100 hits with it, apparently lots of singers and groups recorded it. And, to be fair, most of those covers weren't bad. (BTW, management at my job did let us go outside to watch the eclipse at its peak; they even supplied us with proper glasses. It was a truly bizarre, yet spectacular event.)
