Not AT40, but if you want to hear a countdown with mostly all album versions, search on YouTube for the title of this thread and that's what you will get. Since AT40 used the Billboard top 100 listing, this is a duplicate of the AT40 year end show. "Deacon Blues" that kicks it off is 7:30 for example and the longest so far is "You and I" at 8 minutes. Not every album version is used. "Life's Been Good" is 9 minutes on the album but they used the single version. Not all versions are the known versions either. Check out "Fool if You Think It's Over" at the 1:09 mark. Has a similar feel to an acoustic version of song that is normally played with an electric guitar. It's not acoustic but has that feel and I prefer the regular version. No DJ for this that was posted just 2 weeks ago.

The 1975 Billboard top 100 countdown was just posted 5 minutes ago. This is on YouTube if you did not read my previous post in this thread. They did something AT40 did not do. At #98, they played "You Aint Seen Nothing Yet" AND "Freewheelin".

The 1972 Billboard top 100 countdown was posted today. #94 is a double sided hit and both sides of "Vincent/Castles in the Air" were played. As I posted in previous posts, the album versions are normally played and that was the case for "Roundabout" at #91...all 8 minutes of it.

The 1977 top 100 was posted a couple days ago. This is one of the years when AT40 did their own top 100 so this has some different songs in it. This starts with the lowest peaking hit to make a top 100 of the year in the 70s, 80s and 90s..."Devil's Gun" by CJ & Co., peaked at 36. (And the only other one that peaked in the 30s IIRC was "I Want to Take You Higher" in 1970, peaked at 34). There are 8 hits that peaked at #2 but 5 of them are between #95 and 70...."Boogie Nights", "Nobody Does it Better", 'The Rubberband Man", "Keep it Comin Love" and "Float On". All but the last one were cutoff by the survey period and Float had dropped from 2 to 19, the biggest drop from #2 in AT40 history. As mentioned in the previous posts, they play the album versions of songs. So 1977 being a year with a lot of great album versions, there are a bunch of songs rarely or never heard as such on AT40..."Year of the Cat"(only time was the AT40 year end), "Carry On Wayward Son"(only time was in 1984 when it was a LDD), "Night Moves"(never), "Blinded by the Light" (never), "Fly Like an Eagle" (never) and the whole over a minute instrumental ending for "Strawberry Letter 23" that I always like to hear but is always cutoff on AT40. One song not heard despite being at #51 on the AT40 year end is "You Light Up My Life" neither is yet another #2 hit whose chart run was cut off by the survey year, "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald".

1973 Billboard top 100 has been posted. I'll leave it at that.
