Under the recommendation of a few guys on here, I bought Total Recorder Pro so that I could record streams better.
I do have a few questions though for those who have it.....
1. Can you set the timer to record two shows at the same time? And, if so, do you change anything in the settings to make sure it doesnt sound like two shows are recording at once when you play them back?
2. Im recording in mp3 now because I didnt see a "record in wav" option... is there one?
3. Any suggestions for better performance from your experiences?
Thanks! Shawn

There used to be a wav format in the recording parameters section, but I just checked and it doesn't look like there is one now. You may want to email high criteria and ask them.
The only way you would be able to record two programs at the same time is if you were recording one on the internet and one off a stereo in your home. Then you would just change the source of one to wherever you have the line running from your computer into the stereo.

For streams that actually require you hitting a play button on their player or streams that require a login/password....
Is there a way around that when setting a timer? Or, for those, do you have to just record them when on manually?
And Paul, Ive been trying to get ahold of you regarding maybe setting up a trade or something. You seem like you might have quite a list. And Im also in Florida (Vero Beach). I added your aol thing, but never see you on. If youd like, please email me at spt72@bellsouth.net
Thanks! Shawn

Actually I dont have anything anymore. Its all been thrown away involunarily, or was on various computers that crashed. So, seriously I have nothing and have pretty much given up on recording or collecting anymore. It took too much time in my life to now have it all gone and to try again.
As far as the password and manual thing, I am pretty sure you would have to do it manually. I dont know, I have never tried on those.

Another TRP question....
if I have the timer set, for example, for two streams... lets just say one from 9-10pm and one from 10-11pm.....
is there an option/a box/anything i can click to make sure that stream 1 shuts down at 10pm... the first timer stops recording, but I still get teh audio from stream 1 and it gets mixed in with stream 2... so then stream two records both audios. id like to have something where, for example, not only does recording one stop at the set time, but the stream window closes or something too.
Is there any way to do this or prevent what Ive described?
Thanks! Shawn

In the "scheduler", click on the advanced tab and at the bottom it has a section that says after the program is completed, shut down programs with the following strings or something like that. Check the box and make sure you choose the box which is what your radio stream is using.
Note: As of now, this WILL NOT work on the newer CC run feeds, it only runs on the Media Player, Real Player, Real One, etc.
