Peter Nero (1934-2023)

Musician and composer Peter Nero died recently on July 6 in Eustis, FL. He was 89. His sole AT40 entry was from 1971, a cover of Theme from the Summer of ‘42, that hit Hot 100 at #21/AC #6.
Like the song’s composer, the late Michel Legrand, he was well versed in both classical and pop/Jazz fields.
