As of May 2, 2023, the WGA - Writer's Guild of America - went on strike for the first time since late 2007-early 2008 with rumors about the upcoming 2023-2024 TV season being delayed. But do any of the writers for American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest work for the WGA?
I know Casey Kasem AT40 had no effects on the 1981 and 1988 WGA strikes.

The last time the WGA workers went on strike in 2007-08, AT40 was never impacted. It was business as usual for AT40.
However, I did learn on Facebook that certain streaming services are planning to raise monthly subscription rates. One service is planning to raise monthly rates from $49.99 to $69.99 by August. Could this imply that the rate hike is needed in order to give the workers what they are fighting for and quickly end the dispute in order to get the scripted shows premiered as soon as possible?
