This past weekend on AT20 (and likely AT10), Casey mentioned artists that were cartoon acts such as Gorillaz, Bart Simpson, and Beavis and Butthead! He also included a snippet of "Sugar Sugar" by the Archies since that song hit #1.
Casey completely missed out on mentioning The Chipmonks (and David Seville for that matter) and it had me thinking: What other cartoon acts have hit the pop charts?

Max Headroom is another.
Also, does this include Muppets?

I was sincerely thinking of that; Kermit ("Rainbow Connection") and Ernie ("Rubber Duckie") are obvious suggestions.
So why don't we expand on this subject! How about we list any non-human acts to hit the charts: cartoon, muppet, etc.

Sure, why not! By the way the aforementioned "group" was actually Meco!
And Henhouse Five Plus Too was Ray Stevens. That clucked version of "In the Mood" may qualify Ray as an artist with both instrumental and vocal hits! Would anyone like to confirm this?
For you South Park fans, Timmy and the Lords of the Underworld had a song (the title being that of the group itself!) on the Billboard Singles Chart in 2000!
Timaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
