Station Fire, 20 Years Later

February 20, 2023 marks the 20th anniversary of a tragic fire at The Station, a night club in West Warwick, Rhode Island. One hundred died that night, and more than 200 were injured.

A TV cameraman was there to film a concert performance featuring the band Great White. But pyrotechnics used on stage to kick off their performance ignited the fire. And incredibly, it was captured on video, with the fire starting about 6 minutes into the attached youtube link.

In memory to those who perished that night, rest in peace.
