One wonders with this move will he devote more time to just American Idol, On Air, and of course, making American Top 40 Great again. Or knowing him he will be looking for the next big gig. Seacrest is definitely more like Dick Clark in terms of staying busy doing other tasks. However I also feel it makes AT 40 suffer due to it being no. 3 in his workload.

On a side note, Mark Consuelos is Kelly Ripa's husband. So it makes kinda sense since he filled in for him in the past. I wish him the best in luck in that role.

But how many more years does Ryan Seacrest have in his AT40 contract with Premiere/iHeartRadio?

He's under contract with iHeartMedia (AT40 & On Air) until 2025. Another two more years. 2025 will also be the 30th. anniversary of the end of the original run AT40 then hosted by Casey Kasem's first AT40 successor Shadoe Stevens (By then it was only heard in foreign markets after withdrawing from the USA in Summer 1994).

He's under contract with iHeartMedia (AT40 & On Air) until 2025. Another two more years. Variety also interviewed Ryan about his departure from "Live," his new venture producing wine and olive oil, and how he wants to host "Idol" "forever," but it only has token mention of AT40...
