CHART DATE: March 7 I put in the #10 song just to have something by Johnny Mathis. I absolutely love this man's voice, and he's still performing at age 87! What shocked me was that this record came out on Mercury, not Columbia. Turns out Johnny had a three-year fling with the great Chicago-based label. CHART DATE: March 14 We haven't seen much of the sun here in California since the beginning of February. I'm sure you all know about the insane amount of snow in the San Bernardino Mountains a couple of weeks back. They're still digging their way out of it.

Hope y'all see the sun more often soon. I remember the sun being out a good amount when I lived there many, many years ago.
My old (but not as old as Riverside 😂) stomping grounds have a ton of snow as well. Just talked to my adoptive mother today and she said she has drifts almost up to the roof (it is one level above ground, but still).
I get the feeling the Fab Four are gonna be doing a lot of pushing themselves around the top in the coming weeks. 🙂 (Or as they would sing, twisting and shouting. 😂)
Speaking of "California Sun", the group The Outfield (of "Your Love" fame in 1986) released a song titled "California Sun" in 2011. It's a great track. Sadly, Tony Lewis and John Spinks passed away in recent years. I play their music when baseball season starts.

CHART DATE: March 21 That does it. One of my FT10 Specials in January has got to be the top songs with a repeated word in the title. Lou Simon did it when he hosted the '60s Satellite Survey on SiriusXM. Also, "From Me to You" was the first Lennon/McCartney composition to chart in the States. Del Shannon took his version to #77 in the summer of '63.
