Doobie Brothers founder and drummer, John Hartman has died at the age of 72. Here are my three favorite Doobie Brother songs, if anyone else wanted to chime in theirs: Another Park, Another Sunday, Jesus Is Just Alright, and Dependin' On You

Sorry to hear about John's passing-The Doobie Brothers were just here in Connecticut-Wish I had seen them-My favorite songs from the Tom Johnston era are "Another Park,Another Sunday","Listen To The Music","Black Water","Long Train Running" & "China Grove".

As a runner… there are some standard songs that mean something to you… Born to Run, Long Run, Run like Hell… and a great Doobie Brother’s song… It keeps you Runnin'

Released as a single before the Doobie Brothers' version, it just missed the Top 40 peaking at #46.

I agree with all the songs listed above except Another Park, Another Sunday--and would replace it with Jesus Is Just Alright (although, I think He is more than just Alright).
