Just to be curious with the recent passing of Queen Elizabeth II of the Royal UK Family at the age of 96: Does the current version of AT40 hosted by Ryan Seacrest air in England/UK? I ask that since UK radio may have suspended music on radio stations to honor the late Queen of England until her funeral.

Radio station AMBR-FM (107.2) in Amber Valley, Derbyshire, England airs AT40 Sundays at 4pm local (11am Eastern). Stations in the UK already have been playing quite a wide range of pop, most only 12 hours after announcement of the passing.
Some like National Radio 2 Classic Pop/Rock started the music somewhat somberly. The first song played after music shows returned on the Friday morning breakfast show on Radio 2 was “Cavatina (Theme from Deer Hunter)” (a UK Top 20 in 1978). I also listened very early Saturday (1 AM Eastern in here in North America) to “The Sound of the 60s” which this week had less adventurous playlist with songs like: “Pocketful of Rainbows” by Elvis, “I’ll See You in My Dreams” by Pat Boone, “Georgia On My Mind” by Ray Charles, “Stand by Me” by Ben E. King, “Blue Velvet” by Bobby Vinton, “Never My Love” by The Association, “Ferry ‘cross the Mersey” by Gerry and the Pacemakers, “My Cherie Amour” by Stevie Wonder, “Something” by Beatles, “What a Wonderful World” by Louie Armstrong + 21 others. On the above AMBR-FM station though, around 12:30 am eastern (early Sunday morning in England) I heard Alanis Morrisette and Lionel Richie, even upbeat songs like Take That version of “It Only Takes a Minute”. But we wait and see if AT40 actually airs later today.
