Ian McDonald, founding member of King Crimson and Foreigner succumbed to cancer on February 9 at the age of 75.
Ian contributed Mellotron, keyboards, and woodwinds to the "In The Court Of The Crimson King" debut album by King Crimson. He was also a co-founder of Foreigner and appeared on their first three albums (self-titled, "Double Vision", and "Head Games").
Ian was also a session man, most notably supplying the sax solo to T-Rex's Top 10 hit "Get It On (Bang A Gong)".
