This estate auction may be unfortunately tainted for many of us by including a lot of Jean’s stuff as well, but there are some interesting and authentic countdown items in there, including things Casey actually used when recording.

When the gavel came down, the final bid on Casey's microphone was $22,500. The catalog now show a final price of $28,800 which, I assume, includes auction house costs.

It was pointed out on one of the Facebook groups that this was likely Casey's microphone from the later portion of the Premiere era, whereas the auction listing made it seem like this was his microphone for the entire run of the shows. Not that those shows weren't great, but it also was a bit of deception.

Assuming this auction was at least in part a money grab for Jean, she definitely did well yesterday.
