Two years ago in 2003 I started listing musical deaths of that year. (There were really a lot!) We had a lot of fun and came up with a lot of stars!
Who did we lose this year?
I will start with a few:
Link Wray
Ray Peterson (back on January 25)
Hamilton Camp (actor/musician who had a very minor hit with "Here's to You" in 1968)
And just a few weeks ago, Joe Jones of "You Talk Too Much" fame and the original version of "California Sun" (great version, by the way, if you have ever heard it!)
Four to get us started! Looking forward to reading the rest! And I will try to find a few more myself!

I know this isn't a music person, but actor John Spencer (Leo on the "West Wing") passed away today. He was a great actor.

Used on AT40's first theme and on top 40 hits like "Popcorn" from Hot Butter.
