American Gold very first show

Any idea when the first American Gold with Dick Bartley began ?

I'm sure it was in 1991 but sometimes i've read the first show was July 06 ( Wikipedia ) and sometimes it began on January 1,1991 ( Dick Bartley's website ).

According to the ‘92 annual “R&R Program Supplier Guide” supplemental directory, it was first aired in June 1991 (page 4, top of the middle column).
