Since this Halloween 2021 weekend Premiere offered for a bonus show the 10/30/2004 American Top 10 show with the Halloween spotlight, I wonder if in the near future Premiere will offer to AT40: The 70's/AT40: The 80's shows AT10 shows 2004-2009 that have these holiday spotlights related to... * Valentine's Day * Memorial Day * Fourth of July ...for the weekends of these holidays - not just the Christmas holiday season.
Was there ever a St. Patrick's Day weekend AT10 where the spotlight was on Irish born singers? Or even an April Fool's weekend AT10 were the spotlight was on novelty related records? How about AT10 Mother's Day spotlights or AT10 Father's Day spotlights? Too bad AT10 didn't do a spotlight in Feb. 2009 (months before Casey retired) to tie in with the 50th. anniversary of Feb. 1959 "The Day The Music Died" after the tragic plane crash of Buddy Holly/Richie Vallens/Big Bopper (And would have featured Don McLean's "American Pie" as well as the Buddy Holly and Richie Vallens songs - mostly the Buddy Holly songs covered by Linda Rondstat ("It's So Easy" and "That'll Be The Day"), and James Taylor ("Everyday") and the Richie Vallens songs covered by Los Lobos ("La Bamba" and "Come On Let's Go").

I could see Premiere offering the affiliate stations an option of running an "AT10" show where the spotlight was on Valentine's Day.

During its brief run, AT10 had spotlights centered on or around certain holidays. Here's a few (some have similar themes):
2004-10-30: Spooky Hits From The Past 2005-10-29: Songs That Put You In The Mood For Trick Or Treating 2006-03-11: Big Hits By Irish Acts 2006-05-13: Famous Moms In Music 2006-06-17: Big Hits By Musical Dads 2006-07-01: Biggest All-American Acts 2006-09-02: Song Titles About Work 2006-10-28: Spooky Hits About Halloween 2007-03-31: "Fool" Songs 2007-05-12: Big Hits By Famous Moms 2007-06-16: Songs About Fathers And Their Children 2007-10-27: Hits With A Hint Of Halloween 2008-03-15: Irish Acts In Honor Of St. Patrick's Day 2008-05-10: Famous Moms In Honor Of Mother's Day 2008-05-24: In Remembrance - In Honor Of Memorial Day 2008-06-14: Same as 2007-06-16 2008-10-25: Halloween 2009-02-14: Heart Songs 2009-05-23: Same as 2008-05-24 2009-06-20: Father's Day - Honoring Singing Dads
Other shows have tied into then-current events, such as the Grammys. Some spotlight hits from a certain year, or chart feat, or acts from a certain country/continent, just to mention a few. The final show on 7/4/2009 featured the biggest chart stars of the past 40 years, as Casey signed off the radio after that weekend. In looking through my shows, I didn't see anything related to Thanksgiving, or Independence Day (the 2006 show is the closest I found, which is why I listed it), and obviously Christmas, since every show in early to mid-November is Christmas-themed (however, there were some regular shows produced which lasted through November, which some stations aired if they chose). Only one Valentine's Day made my list (2009). But even with a major U.S. holiday, AT10 didn't always feature songs relating to or around that particular holiday (Halloween being a very obvious exception).

Valentine's Day 2007 was the Long Distance Dedication special that tied in with Valentine's Day.
The main "issue" with these shows is that while the theme extras may tie in well, the actual Top 10 countdown likely doesn't correspond with the playlists of affiliate stations. I listened to the Halloween show on WMXY last weekend once I realized they were airing it. The Halloween songs fit well, but the Top 10 AC songs that were on the show felt weird to hear on that station.

Looking through my shows quickly, 2005 had a July 4th themed show

Premiere should have done before Casey retired an AT10 spotlight tribute to Michael Jackson in June 2009 after Michael Jackson passed away.

Casey recorded his final shows on Tuesday, June 23, 2009. MJ passed two days later.

For a special AT10 Top 10 All Time Long Distance Dedication songs countdown if one was made - "Shannon" by Henry Gross (The infamous "Snuggles" LDD song) could have even made an extra, same for the first ever LDD - "Desiree" by Neil Diamond.

I believe Desiree made that show. If not, I know it was aired in the summer of 2007 on both AT20 and AT10 when they celebrated 30 years of Long Distance Dedications.
As for Snuggles, no. It is something Casey was able to laugh about later in life but not something he wanted to actively promote.

I don't know also if AT10 did a spotlight dealing with songs related to the start of the new school year for every September - mostly songs that tie in with school subjects or school (Some examples: "Wonderful World" by Simon and Garfunkel and James Taylor, "ABC" by the Jackson Five, "Back at One" by Brian McKnight, "Welcome Back Kotter" by John Sebastian, and "Summer Nights" by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John and the cast of the movie "Grease").

No, there weren't. There was one show from Labor Day weekend in 2006 spotlighting songs about work, however.
