Music Expert Retro Countdown Top 100 of 1971

With this show we will have righted all the wrongs that American Top 40 did over the years in not doing an entire top 100.

We did 1970 then 1979 then 1973 then 1972 and now this year we are doing the top 100 of 1971. It will be the first two weekends in July. Check out our Facebook page for stations, there are now 30 of them, and airings, there are over thirty of those.

By the way, at the end of the year we are going to do close to the top 100 of 1963 one week and the following week close to the top 100 of 1962. We are unsure how many but being in the pre Beatle years we thought things would thin out and didn't think we should do an entire top 100 over 2 weeks because we would need a lot of extras from those years and thought that would be really overkill.

Listening to the Top 100 Duets. There are 2 types of duets....vocal duets and a vocal/instrumental duet. Examples of the latter are "Is It You" which came in at #95. Vocal is by Eric Tagg and the instrumental and only label credit is Lee Ritenour.
