I've been a regular listener of CT40 since this past December. It's been a little challenging to find radio stations and times that play this show since Fitz took over, as there's no directory on the website.
Fitz is pretty good, IMO. Fun to listen to. He does a great job. Bob Kingsley's shoes aren't easy to fill. I'm glad the show has continued since his passing. I much prefer CT40 to ACC (2006 to present).
Anyway, many of us know the current situation regarding Morgan Wallen. His song in this week's countdown at #26 was indeed skipped. Not surprised.

It will be interesting to see if next week that Morgan Wallen's song is off the chart completely (already has for the Billboard charts, I wouldn't be surprised if Mediabase 24/7 does the same thing).

This weekend (5/15), Rascal Flatts' song, "How They Remember You", dropped from #2 to #23. That's quite a fall! But what's more remarkable is, just last week they jumped from 7-2! Listening to the next show, I certainly didn't expect to hear that song before the halfway point.

Can you imagine listening to a countdown show where a song you like is at #2, and then disappears the following week? We'll, that's exactly what happened on this past weekend's Country Top 40. The song? "Forever After All" by Luke Combs. It shot up to #1, spent 3 weeks, fell to #2, stayed for 2 weeks, then off the 40 completely. Wow.
