Lou doesn't program 70s on 7. He runs 50s, 60s, Beatles, Siriusly Sinatra, and many of the pop-up channels.

A couple more things I found:

- The song "Higher" by Creed has appeared in both the 90s and 2000s countdowns.
- On the '80s countdown, they play a shorter version of "Sweet Child O' Mine". If only they did that more for the Big 40.
- So far the 50s through the 80s have theirs up on demand. Not sure about the last two decades.

You're welcome. Actually I had been using Microsoft Word for all that. It took a couple days because I would usually stop before going to sleep. At least for the 80s one each re-airing started about 3 1/2-4 hours earlier than the last. I should have the 2000s one done tonight because they're getting close to the top 50 again.

Oh, and actually I did own a typewriter, but I was like 5 or 6 years old so I forgot what I did on that. Believe it or not those were still a thing in the '90s.

Another way of doing this is to go to the Sirius 80's on 8 website and select "Recently Played," and just keep clicking for what will seem like an hour. I was pretty impressed with my prediction that it would take 20 hours to play the 300 songs. It repeated for the first time around 11 am Thursday, but I was at the gym, and after that it was usually late at night. Currently they are playing song position 92--"White Wedding." The countdown should start over between Midnight and 1 a.m. (EST).

One observation about the Countdown--Where is Whitney? Hopefully she was represented in the 90's and 2000's?

It's actually not as difficult as it might seem IF one types up the list as the countdown goes on - albeit for a Top 300 list it's, obviously, still a very long process. (A Top 100 could be done in a day that way...much longer than that? Not likely.)

Honestly I was a little more excited for the 2000s list than I was for the '80s since it was around my high school years and I was in college by the end of the decade. I noticed however that songs like "Hot In Herre" and "Bring Me To Life" weren't on there despite me hearing both songs everywhere when they came out. I guess they were left off the poll they used.

There are a few headscratchers with this one tbh. I was expecting Whitney Houston and Madonna to have more hints than they did on here, and Mariah Carey didn't even have one song in the top 100. Plus there were several songs I was expecting to hear and they weren't even on here, but then again I didn't look at the list of songs they had for the initial poll.

I was checking out this list, as well as the list for the 2000's, and I happened to notice (and I double-checked to confirm) that a major artist of these two decades is conspicuously absent from both countdowns.  That would be one R. Kelly, despite having many big hits during this time period.  If the online ballots for these two countdowns were like the one for the '60's countdown, several hundred songs are provided, and each voter chooses up to 30-40 songs (forgot the exact number).  I would venture to guess the folks at SiriusXM deliberately left songs by R. Kelly off the ballot, given the serious sexual assault charges against him. (Although, curiously, they obviously included Michael Jackson songs; I guess they feel the charges against R. Kelly are far more credible than those against MJ.)

Both 90s on 9 and Pop2K completely dropped every R. Kelly song (even ones he is just featured on) from their playlists sometime a couple years ago. I remember one year the 90s featured a chart where "Bump and Grind" was #1 and DTJB just mentioned the song title and how R. Kelly was in hot water without playing anything.
