Johnny Nash's "Hold Me Tight" (#5, 1968) probably was my introduction to reggae, and "Stir It Up" introduced me to the songwriting of Bob Marley.
His "I Can See Clearly Now" is one of the benchmarks of reggae, and a sentiment we can hope to experience soon as we navigate through these trying times.
RIP

May Johnny Nash rest in peace. #1 American Top 40 on the day I was born, November 12th, 1972... Johnny Nash - I Can See Clearly Now (1972) PS-"Stir It Up" (#12 AT40 1973 & #90 Opus 73) also from that album is another favorite of mine!
