Years ago, I used to go to one of the music theaters here in Detroit called the Magic Bag and I used to go see this band called the "Mega80's". They are an '80's tribute band and I have seen them over 70 times. One of my favorite parts of their show is when they would do a medley of songs by Journey and before they would do a medley of their hits, they would almost always play a small piece of a Long Distance Dedication that Casey once read on American Top 40. The dedication was from a young girl who dedicated a song to Journey, who was her favorite band. They would play this dedication before they would do their medley of Journey's hits. I would always shout out Casey's name and say "Counting Down The Hits With Casey Kasem".
