Guys, I've figured it out. I have figured out how Casey was able to do three shows at once. All the Requests and Dedications were the same, as well as Casey's Concert Calendar. All that needed to be swapped in and out were the charts and extras.

I remembered on a few rare moments, you would hear Casey on Casey's Hot 20 telling you to write them at Casey's Top 40 instead of Casey's Hot 20.

Thinking that may have been a production error...I'm sure that's happened a few times. I have many CH20 shows in my collection, but haven't heard most of them yet. The ones I have heard, I didn't notice any errors like that. I'm sure there's several instances. David Perry did introduce us to Casey's Hot 40 once... 😂

From what I heard, he recorded the AC and hot AC versions on Wednesdays and CHR on Thursdays.

Well yeah, it wouldn't make sense to record content that was the same.
He also was able to record three shows a week because, well, it's still not that much content compared to air personalities that do a daily show five or six days a week. Especially since it was all prewritten for him when he came in.

And when AT40 CHR/AT20 AC/AT20 Hot AC came along, starting in circa 2003 the LDD's were the same letter but different songs at times depending on the AT40/20/10 format.

how can a ldd/req & d, be different songs? Isnt the letter itself requesting a certain song?
And obviously Casey only had to do his voice overs. The music was inserted later by engineers. I'm sure Ryan Seacrest does the same thing

When I sent in my dedication (AT20/AT10 era) I put 2 different song choices. They used 1 on AT20 and the other on AT10.

how can a ldd/req & d, be different songs? Isnt the letter itself requesting a certain song? As radio programmers got more and more picky about their playlists, Casey's shows sometimes had to replace the requested song with one more fitting for a given format. Yeah, it makes no sense to me either, but that's modern radio for you...
