So much for Hugh Gibb's influence on Billboard. I guess there was a limit. Not sure what you mean. "More Than a Woman" wasn't eligible to chart on the 'Hot 100' since it wasn't released as a commercial single. The story is that RSO wanted to release it but the Brothers Gibb said 'no'. So Tavares' version of "More Than a Woman" charted on Billboard instead of the Bee Gees version?

Tavares' "More Than a Woman" was a commercial single so it charted.

Sorry I was referring to the Baker Street thing. I figured if Hugh could (allegedly?) keep a song from reaching #1 he could convince Billboard to change that eligibility rule too, at least for one song. It was just snark. No biggie.
