Do you think American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest will have to cease production for a few weeks due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus outbreak scare going on?

Doubtful.

No, I'm sure that he and others in the studio are doing all they reasonably can to keep things up to and including his golden microphone safe and disinfected, and even if Ryan got sick they could bring in guest hosts. For that matter, his daily TV show with Kelly Ripa is temporarily nixing the studio audience as a precaution.

How come Premiere hasn't hired Mike Kasem or Keri Kasem to be a guest host for Ryan Seacrest on current AT40? That would bring AT40's roots back to the Kasem family. But Premiere wouldn't hire back Shadoe Stevens to be an AT40 guest host for Ryan, or even have Larry Morgan (the voice over for the intro, outro, start of hour segments, and OPTIONAL EXTRAS for AT40 The 70's/AT40 The 80's) to fill in for Ryan on AT40. I wonder if Don Bustany, who co-created AT40 with Casey, had any children or grandchildren who take part in radio currently? If they did, they could be potential Ryan AT40 guest hosts.

Being family doesn't necessarily mean they'd be interested, or have the time to include such an endeavor. Sure, they'd have a leg up, but it needs to be something that works for all parties involved.

One thing: The world declares everyone around the world stays home for a week to curb/subside COVID-19 for a week and that week no radio stations carry music and may carry round the clock commercial free news coverage from TV networks - that weekend AT40 with Ryan Secrest would not be produced for that week and resume at least the next week.

I don't know any music formatted station that has broken format for this. If anything, many are advertising online and through their personalities that they are here to be a constant in an otherwise unusual time.

As for why the Kasem kids or the Bustany kids don't guest host American Top 40 - it's the same reason any relatives of Johnny Carson don't host The Tonight Show.

Ryan Seacrest does so many things besides AT40 and On Air With Ryan Seacrest. His purpose I think is to build his fortune.

Well, I notice President Trump has been hospitalized recently after being COVID-19 positive on October 2, 2020. But if President Trump dies/passes away of COVID-19. Would AT40 with Ryan Seacrest have to take a week off or be prempted for 24 hour radio news coverage - same for AT40: The 70's/AT40: The 80's. I know the November 1963 tragic death of President John F. Kennedy made radio stations go all news coverage for a few days with no music (And AT40 didn't exist yet until several years later!)

I know the November 1963 tragic death of President John F. Kennedy made radio stations go all news coverage for a few days with no music (And AT40 didn't exist yet until several years later!) I doubt it. Most stations that play top 40 music today aren't going to preempt all their music for days of news coverage--and I suspect that most of the CHR/top 40 audience of today, especially in major markets, wouldn't be in a sufficiently deep state of mourning for Trump to be pleased with such coverage preempting all else for days. (I know I wouldn't be.) AT40 didn't take a week off in September 2001 after 9/11 (though some stations likely didn't air it that weekend, and some who would have didn't get the show in time due to air mail being suspended.) If that didn't force a weeklong break for the show then I don't know and don't want to think about what can.
