It may be a little soon, but here's another clue for #39. It is by possibly THE best new male artist of the 2010s - and it was definitely also #1 on Billboard and Mediabase.

Laura was correct. A grenade, particularly a hand grenade, is also known as a pineapple, because of its shape.
Proceeding to round 18:
35) Another song that was the top song of its respective year on my chart. This was the answer song to a Top Ten hit from late 2009.
34) You may see many of these watching a ball game.
33) By far the most successful hit by this English singer that reminds me a little of Austin Powers when he wears glasses.
32) This song title charted early in the millennium by four, and then again this decade by three.
31) This song hit the charts very shortly after this artist became legally old enough to drink.
GOOD LUCK!!
Wups - I forgot that song #38 has yet to be correctly guessed. It was a comeback song, of sorts.

All guesses so far are correct. For the record, "Shake It Off" is the highest-ranked Taylor Swift song on the list. She had eight #1 songs within the 2010s both on Billboard and my chart (as "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" stopped at #2 on BB, but made it to #1 on my chart, and "Look What You Made Me Do" only got as high as #9 on my chart, as I did not like that song at all - besides, there was quite a Top Ten traffic jam on my chart in the autumn of 2017).

Onto round 19:
30) A song of unfixable regret.
29) This song has heavy Minneapolis sound influence.
28) This song was from a very popular film trilogy soundtrack.
27) The biggest hit (this decade, anyway) by this popular female artist.
26) I always thought this title sounded like a sugarcoated rejection for a job interview or audition.
GOOD LUCK!!
