I was on the Jersey Shore yesterday and listened to part of "Rock, Roll and Remember" on WJRZ-FM. Funny how to listeners of that show, Dick has never been gone, as they've been playing reruns since his stroke in December.

Just finished listening to this weekend's U.S. Music Survey. Mark Wallengren is still in for Dick each week, concluding each show with "For Dick Clark, i'm Mark Wallengren"
I still tune in each week hoping that Dick will be hosting, but I honestly have no idea if that will happen. Supposedly, we will see Dick for sure this New Year's Eve as he co-hosts with Ryan Seacrest. What capacity Dick will have in the show, no one really knows. I would love to see Dick host US Music Survey again, but I don't know. Are most of the affiliates still running the show? I know Star 97.1 still runs it faithfully, and still invite you to join Dick Clark during the week in promos.
I must give Mark Wallengren credit, he has done a great job hosting the show. Jeff Robbins, Dick's regular guest host did it for a while, but it has been Mark for several months now. He does the show with class, always being sure to recognize the fact that he is in for Dick Clark.

I have heard Dick recently on commercials and he sounds good. I just wonder if this was his way of exiting the show, either that or he plans to return around the time he is on New Years Rockin Eve. Btw, is this Dicks last year hosting the New Years Eve show, I am thinking I heard somewhere it was but I am not too sure.

No one knows for sure if this will be Dick's last year doing the New Year's Eve show, but I'd say bet on it.

Ryan Seacrest. This was announced at the same time that it was announced that Ryan would co-host with Dick this year.
