Just heard it on Nile FM... is it just me, or did they skip a couple of the optional extras? And, it's NOT the same #1 as the Hot 100 of the year...not even close. Laying off any further spoilers.

My local station will air it Sunday morning, and they've played the extras in shows past.
Also, heard in this past weekend's show the decade's top 40 will air the weekend of 12/28. So I'll be looking forward to that as well.

Is there a listing of stations that stream the show? Even though I no longer listen to the show on a regular basis, I am interested in catching the Top 40 of the 2010s.

The iHeart AT40 channel plays the current week's show in a loop. Unsure what day it switches; maybe on Fridays? Listening to the channel now; the top 40 of 2019 is playing. So by this time next week the decade's top 40 should be on. The AT40 website has a list of stations that carry the show along with air times.

Usually it switches from one show to the next overnight as Thursday becomes Friday. It should be noted that this week is the only one that we get to hear the top 40 of 2019. From 2010-18 they did only a top 40 for each year, with the same songs played in two consecutive weeks, though they did change the optional extras from Week 1 to Week 2. (Before then it was a two week top 100). But with the decade show next week now it's only being done once, which is fine with me as three weeks off from the regular countdown is too much IMO.

Good point; thanks for bringing that up. It's going to be a quicker turnaround with the special shows than it has been. And, yeah, I thought three weeks off from the regular countdown as 2009 rolled into 2010 was a bit much. Maybe they thought so too, as we get what we get now. Gonna be tough to pick the #1 song of the decade, but I correctly guessed this year's #1. Should be fun; I'll be listening.

You're right, they don't - however, the year-end show itself seems to include more extras than usual...almost seems like one per segment.

They list the song title and artist of the current song playing. It changed from "Cheap Thrills" to "Stay the Night" by Zedd but the song that was playing was "Stay" by Alessia Cara. Would rather hear the song they played...lol

If you're one of those that wants to be surprised at the next hit coming up, you may want to minimize your screen.
