For those of you who were around in 1968, and unfortunately I wasn't one of them, since that was 4 years before I was born, The group, The Irish Rovers scored a Top 10 hit in '68, called "The Unicorn". I was in Boyne Falls, Michigan for a bike riding event last October, and while I was listening to XM Radio's 60's channel, they played, "The Unicorn" song, and that was the first time I had ever heard of that song. Well, on Sunday night, I downloaded "The Unicorn" from winmx. I also checked to see if The Irish Rovers had any other hits, and I found out they had another Top 40, which came out in 1981, and that song was called "Wasn't That A Party". I listen to a bit of the AT40 show from May 2, 1981, and heard "Wasn't That A Party". That song was a departure from "The Unicorn Song" "Unicorn" had a Irish feel to it since the group was Irish, and "Party" sounded more like a country song. Big difference.
