I have listened to several HAC shows recently and what I really miss from Ryan is more music and artist relared information. Well, the one on Amy Winehouse unreleased recording felt good this weekend; however, more information on the number of Top40/Top10 hits, albums, hometowns of acts in the countdown etc. like back during Casey’s days would make the listening experience much better for me. I have no problem with those Ryan’s features suchlike Breakout or even Tell Me Something Good, well, ok, it’s Ryan not Casey, but if I get almost none information about the acts in the countdown, it makes very little difference from general radio listening. Even the information on the number of weeks the song is spending at number one, and whether consecutively or no, is heard rather rarely, Sometimes it seems very easy to get lost in the countdown.

...it makes very little difference from general radio listening. That is the goal, to make the show not have a tune out factor. If the average listener enjoys the show and doesn't tune out because something is "different" than they have done what they have set out to do.

Well, I got it. Nonetheless, isn’t that standard of setting out the difference moving a little bit downwards when compared to past, let’s say, Casey’s era level...
