Happy 34th Anniversary to Casey Kasem. He started his first countdown show American Top 40 on July 4, 1970.Today, I decided to play on my CD player, the very 1st American top 40 from July 4, 1970. Its interesting how some songs from 1970 are played on the oldies stations but some others are not played.
Congrats to Casey for 34 years of countin' down the hits with American Top 40, American Top 20, American Top 10, Casey's Top 40, Casey' Countdown, and Casey's Hot 20.
