Well, today is the first day of Fall. To many, it's a depressing thought. The day get shorter, the nights get longer, the tan fades, and just before you know it, winter is on its way. But for me, it's a day to celebrate. More than a few of us think fall is the best time of the year. As we enter the fall season, there has been something that has been bugging me for the longest time. We all know that there are songs about Summer and Christmas, but there are hardly no songs about Fall. What's up with that? I mean Fall is the time of year of seeing the leaves change color, watching college and NFL Football, going to cider mills, season premiere of TV shows, Halloween, and Thanksgiving. Why aren't there any songs talking about the celebration of Fall. Can someone please explain that to me? If Christmas songs are being played like crazy over the Christmas holidays, then they should have some songs about Fall. I believe that Fall is the perfect time of the year to do anything, and there should be some songs to celebrate that.

I heard a song about fall just yesterday, at the Old Country Buffet. Remember James Taylor's song from last year "September Grass"? But that's the only one I can think of right now. I was going to say this might be a good idea for an AT10 Spotlight, but they'd probably have to go digging through the archives and come up with obscure songs that few people remember.
