Peaches and Herb had some late 60's success but it wasn't until they Reunited that they enjoyed their most memorable hits. Although it should be noted that the late '70's lineup of Peaches & Herb was not the same as the late '60's lineup. Herb Fame was in both versions, but the female in the first lineup was Francine Barker, whereas the second "Peaches" was Linda Green.

Michael Jackson - he was big as a solo artist as a kid, and also had the hits with the Jackson 5, and later the Jackson's. Then came back bigger than ever.

Here's an artist who vanished from the pop culture radar screen:Bobby Vinton scored a huge comeback hit with "My Melody Of Love" in the fall of 1974-However,he could only manage one more trip into the top forty-In early 1975,he had a minor hit with "Beer Barrel Polka" which dates back to the pre-rock era.

Bobby had a two year hiatus-In the summer of 1972,he scored with his rendition of Brian Hyland's "Sealed With A Kiss"-I'm kind of disappointed that his recording career stalled after "My Melody Of Love"-I remember he was about to host a syndicated variety show around that time.

True. Vinton's late-60s/early-70s hits have totally disappeared from the radar. He managed to hit the 40 every year between 1962 and 1975, except for 1970, 71, and 73. Including top 10 records in '67 ('Please Love Me Forever') and '68/'69 ('I Love How You Love Me').

Dionne had nice 1960s run, returned as Warwicke with a #1, but it wasn't until she returned a 2nd time, without the E but with Friends like Barry Manimellow and later Gladys, Stevie, and Elt that she would have her biggest success.

Herb Alpert had a nice run in the 1960s. But long after his career appeared over he would Rise from the ashes with his signature song.
