As most of you know, Casey used to do a segment where he played 5 random songs fore Monday through Friday. I cannot find any record what songs were played week to week. I wanted to know if anyone knew what 5 songs he played for each of these weeks:
11/16/02 11/23/02 12/7/02 12/14/02
I think he stopped doing these in early 2003, so these would have been some of the last ones of this segment.

I could help you with a couple:
11/16/02: "Hero" - Enrique Iglesias; "Higher" - Creed; "I'll Make Love To You" - Boyz II Men; "Pinch Me" - Barenaked Ladies; "Hey Mr. DJ" - Zhane 11/23/02: "Save Tonight" - Eagle Eye Cherry; "How You Remind Me" - Nickelback; "Crazy For This Girl" - Evan and Jaron; "The Rockafella Skank" - Fatboy Slim; "Superman (It's Not Easy) - Five for Fighting 12/14/02: "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" - Wang Chung; "Dreaming of You" - Selena; "Born in the USA" - Bruce Springsteen; "Case of the Ex" - Mya; "Karma Chameleon" - Culture Club
My copy of 12/7 doesn't have them.

The show went all the way to the end of 2008. In 2003, it was no longer included on the show CDs and was sent out on a separate disc for subscribing statons.

That's interesting to know. 2008? Wouldn't have guessed. I didn't think Ryan Seacrest kept these up, especially since he didn't even do LDDs. Neat fact though.

^ Actually I think he's referring to AT10 and AT20 because I'm almost sure it was eliminated from AT40 once Ryan took the helm.

because I'm almost sure it was eliminated from AT40 once Ryan took the helm. To be, effectively, replaced by the Optional Extras sometime in...2005 I think? Looks like you're right - the first weekly show of 2005 (1/8) went to three segments per hour, then an optional extra were played after each of the first three hours, then the fourth played before the show's final segment. (I'm guessing not all stations played the extras, though my local station did.) All the 2004 shows I have (Seacrest's first year) only have two segments per hour, with no extras. Interestingly, the 2004 year-end show reflected the change midway through, with part 1 airing Christmas weekend with only two segments per hour with no optional extras, and then part 2 airing New Year's weekend with three segments per hour, which also included said optional extras. (Again, not all stations may have played them.) Hour 4 in all shows have one more segment than each of the first three - so 2004 had 9 segments per show, while 2005 had 13 (17 if you include optional extras). As for AT20, the copies I have looks like "America's Top Hits" ceased on 2/1/2003, then returned on the 12/10/2005 show and continues through 2/23/2008. The shows from 3/1/2008 through the end of the run (7/4/2009) didn't have them. I'm guessing AT20 AC/AT10 had a similar setup - I'll have to check.

Is someone able to look up one more for me? Does anyone happen to know what America's Top Hits were on January 18, 2003? Thanks!

I feel like the song selections for this segment really kept most stations from airing it. What CHR station was going to spin Pink Houses or Need You Tonight in 2003?

I missed another one - 1/11/2003. The show is on YouTube, but for some reason they left America's Top Hits out of the upload. So, if someone could list them here, I appreciate it.

The show copy I have only includes four of the five ATH's for 1/11/2003:
"From This Moment On" (Shania Twain) "Get This Party Started" (Pink) "Talking In Your Sleep" (The Romantics) "Down Under" (Men At Work)
Anyone have (or know) the fifth one?
