Got into a conversation with someone recently about just when CT40 ceased to be sent to radio stations on vinyl. I'd always thought it was around February 1992. Can anyone shed some light?

I believe the 2/29/1992 show was the last to be on vinyl. Listening to that and the following show from 3/7, I can hear a difference between both.

Someone mentioned to me having seen a vinyl copy of the top 100 of 1994 on eBay at one point. Kind of took me aback and hence this topic...

The vinyl shows in 1992 had the "Audiophile" disc label on them, making it sound like they were already kind of rare then. Maybe they still made very few vinyl copies into 1994 for foreign stations? Strange. |

I thought they shifted to CD along with the first AC show to be produced, guess was May 2, 1992.

On Charis Music Group's site, just added earlier this year are some cue sheets for the Westwood One shows. Among them is the 2/29/1992 cue sheet, which I'm unsure of the source, but it's noted on there that this was the last show that went out on vinyl. Cue Sheet CT40 1992-02-29 |

I can confirm 2/29/92 is on vinyl. Charis Music sold my vinyl set of the show on ebay after I sent it to them several years ago. Allthough I never did get a cd copy of it, so sadly its 1 show that's NOT in my collection today.
