KTSO must have eliminated or moved wildcard Thursday nights. These is the 2nd straight week they have a DJ. I believe they have changed format on KTSO.

If what they said about KOOL and entercom is true WTIC, WOCL, and WTVR are probably gonna pull the plug on him sometime soon.

If what they said about KOOL and entercom is true WTIC, WOCL, and WTVR are probably gonna pull the plug on him sometime soon. I sent a Facebook message to Entercom owned WOCL (Sunny 105.9 FM Orlando), and they replied to me that station has still played AT40: The 80's on Saturday mornings as of yesterday morning (December 5, 2020).

WOCL started airing the show in February 2011, so they're about to hit 10 years. Hopefully they'll keep it on. They started it with the 70s on Sundays, switched to Saturdays in January 2015, and after a few years of alternating 70s and 80s went totally 80s in the late 2015 time period.
I disagree with what those posters said, and in many markets Casey is in fact a PPM winner and ratings go up when the show is on.

That does explain though why WNCX in Cleveland dropped Time Warp with Bill St James a few months ago after being an original Flashback affiliate back in the 80s and having Bill St James on Sunday mornings for over 30 years, save for a time after Matt Pinfield took over on Flashback before they switched to Time Warp

^ The comment that said: I could believe this being the case if only because it's what Cumulus ended up doing, no matter how short-sighted it is. But yeah, reading past that point reeks of self-satisfied never-Caseys indulging in their own confirmation bias.

Admittedly many of the songs AT40 plays would be a PPM tune out factor. But the show does have enough draw where appointment tune in is still a thing for it. There are no fan sites or message boards for any of the other shows. And I'm always the pessimist around here, and even I strongly believe in the draw of these old shows. I wouldn't schedule them in the middle of the afternoon, but they are perfect for weekend mornings or evenings.
AT40 is still on some Cumulus stations I believe. WGRR in Cincinnati is Cumulus and both shows still air there. But I do see the big radio groups gravitating more toward a model where they only air their own stuff.
