I saw a report indicating that singer Christina Aguilera will host AT40 this weekend, July 15 & 16.

This has been Ryan's traditional time off since taking over in 2004. I'll try to catch a snippet of it, but it will hardly be a priority.

To confirm my earlier post, here's part of the introduction for this weekend's AT40 program:
"Thank you for listening to American Top 40 with me, Christina Aguilera. I know you’re expecting Ryan Seacrest but instead, it’s me. Don’t worry, I have a bit of experience in the studio and I promise to get you to number one. And I’m so thrilled to be here…………"

Does Christina host both the CHR and HAC versions of the show, or is there another guest host for the HAC version?

This is weekend of shows that were recorded on 4th of July week. I would expect Dees to either have an "All-Request Countdown" or a guest co-host. I would assume Casey is on, however he did used to always tale this weekend off.

Last week Dees did a "#1 Songs from 2003-2006" special. This week Phil Keoghan from Amazing Race guest hosted.

I heard the show yesterday, and I thought that she did a good job. I would love for her to do the show again.
