Not sure if anyone caught AT40 this weekend, but the National Enquirer's favorite Nick Lachey counted down the hits for Ryan this weekend, at least on the CHR show.
I heard parts of the show here and there...it sounded alright. He had a pretty good voice and threw in some pop culture tidbits (scripted or not) that flowed well with the show.
The beginning of the show featured a "voicemail" on Nick's phone by Ryan, asking him if he "knows how to count backwards from 40 to 1" because he is caught up and can't make it in to host the show this weekend.
This marks the fifth guest hosted show in Ryan's AT40 history, and the first "non-summertime" guest host. So far (correct me if I am wrong) we have had:
August 2004:
Hilary & Haylie Duff
Kelly Clarkson
(2 back-to-back weekends)
July 2005:
Gavin DeGraw
August 2005:
Jesse McCartney - CHR, Pamela Anderson Hot AC
March 2006:
Nick Lachey
Funny thing is that even with my sparse listening to Ryan's show, I have somehow managed to catch every guest host (aside from Pamela Anderson who only did the HAC show). Nick, IMO, was definately one of the better celebrity guest hosts.
