I have noticed that lately, Ryan hasn't said his signature closing, "SEACREST OUT!!!" at the end of AT40 show. Did he decide not to use it anymore?

I heard somewhere a while back that he didn't like it any more and was going to phase it out. I guess he has.

He must've gotten tired of outing himself every week.

Although I don't listen to AT40 very often, I thought that's what you meant also.

So maybe you was thinking about your old friend, the Radioman, and his predictions on Seacrest from a while ago ? I believe it was the main target of the author of this topic to make people curious about this post. Good work BROWNJB1 !! I like the suggestion Seacrest would be dropped from AT40, because ........

Although I don't listen to AT40 very often, I thought that's what you meant also. The general question is: Who listens to AT40 very often these days ?? The whole thing built around here is because of Casey's fame. In my opinion Rob and Scott should rebuilt their website and create a Casey Kasem fanbase only. Since Premiere is hardly working on having no own AT10/AT20 website, it would get the bigger attention on all the fans out there. AT40 is just a name, Seacrest's show is a different kind of radio programme that has nothing (but the name) to do with the legendary countdown show. Some people don't like to face the truth, but that's it !

Maybe he should learn something from his "countdown father" ? Something like CONSISTANCY ? Casey's doing the same for 36 years and that's great. But I believe it's more a generation problem out here. Seacrest's like the typical style of his main audience: Today top, tomorrow flop ! As much as he might be "in" these days, he will be "out" in the foreseable future. If he will do the show only for a quarter of the time Casey did, then I will pull my hat in front of him.

I was NOT thinking about you. If it WAS true, I would be thinking contract dispute or he got in way over his head with the 759 shows he hosts every week and he felt he should drop one. Not everyone has a vitriloic hatred for Ryan Seacrest like you do.

Some people don't like to face the truth, but that's it ! Imagine this, we disagree. Casey and Ryan are intertwined forever as hosts of AT40, same with Shadoe. So you not want him involved in this site either? I'll say this again, while most of us prefer Caseys shows, Ryan is now the host of AT40 and we are going to discuss that here same as we do Casey's stuff.

All I know is that I enjoy Casey's presentation of a countdown show more than any other radio programming there is out there. However, as I have said before, once the initial "oh my gosh" factor wore off when Casey left AT40, I can honestly say the change in host and style to the current AT40 with Ryan is what CHR/Pop radio needed, and the sound of Ryan's show fits that format perfectly.
I wish nothing but sucess for Ryan in his future. I thought he did a great, as well as humble job of hosting New Years Rockin' Eve with Dick Clark this past year, and aside from his "On Air" talk show, all of his ventures have been a success!
