A bit of good news in a world of early morning and overnight time slots.
The AT40 affiliate in the # 1 market in the USA has just moved its AT40 timeslot to a much better time.
In the final days of AT40 with Casey Kasem, Z100 came under fire for running the show early Monday morning from 1-5am. When Ryan took over, they started running the show from 7:30am-Noon, with an ad overload. Then, around the time CC started "Less is More", AT40 on Z100 moved to an earlier timeslot, Sunday morning from 6-10am.
However, AT40 has moved to a much more desirable timeslot on Sunday - 8am-Noon. Great to see perhaps the country's most known CHR/Pop station in the # 1 market put AT40 back on a much better timeslot!

Anyone know if Z100 is pre-empting Ryan's Year-End shows for their own yearly countdown?

Actually if you look at their site, it shows 6-10am for the airing of the show still, so whether they moved it back to 6 or just never thought about updating it's website I dont know.
On the note of the year end show. If youy go to z100's website and click on one of the slides on the right that says Top 100 of 2005, you will see that whichever time AT40 would air, the Top 100 is on during part of that time. So, as in years past I highly doubt it.
If they weren't going to air it last year when he was in their studio recording part of it, that wasn't going to change this year.
