Surprised no one has mentioned this at all here.
Supposed to be a TV special airing this month with Ryan Seacrest featuring live music performances and artists like Avril discussing how AT40 has impacted their career (while a nice thought and tribute, honestly, probably very little - her career impacted much more by MTV than a 6am airing of her song on the radio...)
Still I plan to watch.

You're right, Jason...Ryan has been mentioning this on the show for the past few weeks. If memory serves correctly, it airs next Sunday night (4/17) on Fox.

Just checked...it's Sunday 4/24 from 8p-10p EST Any 8pm Sunday night airings of AT40 to run head to head against its own TV special?  |

Any chance of a cameo apperance by Casey Kasem? I doubt it. I think they want people to forget that Casey ever hosted the show. Sad. But maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised. |

In today's USA Today, it stated that the American Top 40 Live special bombed in the ratings. It mentioned that only 3.8 million people watched the show.
