6/29/85:
Alison Moyet's #31 song "Invisible" fell from #80 to #100, while Luther Vandross and his #29 record "Till My Baby Comes Home" fell from #84 to #99. Now, here's Atlantic Starr and "Freak-A-Ristic." The song stayed at #98 and would peak at #90 pop and #6 R&B.

The BOTC's for 7/15/78 and 7/9/88 are both found on page 2, and the 7/18/81 one is found on page 10.
Now, here's 7/15/72, and debuting at #100 is a posthumous release from a Janis Joplin In Concert album. Originally recorded at the Grande Ballroom in Detroit in 1968, here's "Down On Me." The song would peak at #88.

100. D Austin Roberts "Rocky" (#9) 99. 99. The Mystic Moods "Honey Trippin'" (mentioned on page 18) 98. 100. The Reflections "Three Steps From True Love" (mentioned on page 10)
Debuting at #97 is Elvin "Fooled Around And Fell In Love" Bishop and "Sure Feels Good." The song peaked at #93.
7/19/86:
100. 76. Mr. Mister "Is It Love" (#8) 99. 90. Journey "Be Good To Yourself" (#9) 98. 93. Yarbrough & Peoples "I Wouldn't Lie" (mentioned on page 24)
Mow, falling from #92 to #97 is a 5-man band from Solothern, Switzerland named Krokus. Here's their version of Alice Cooper's "School's Out" which peaked at #67.

Holding at the bottom is this week's #1 Country song by Donna Fargo (her 4th) called "You Were Always There." Pop-wise, it peaked at #93.
7/28/84:
Irene Cara's #8 song "Breakdance" fell from #96 to #100. Now, here's the second Hot 100 for the legendary alt-rockers R.E.M. It's called "South Central Rain (I'm Sorry)", and it fell from #91 to #99 after peaking at #85.

Debuting at #100 is Lou Rawls' version of the Sam Cooke classic "Bring It On Home". This version would peak at #96.
8/3/85:
Falling from #97 to the bottom after peaking at #75 is Sister Sledge with "Frankie."

Bob Seger debuted with his song "Katmandu", but it's been covered on page 5. So, onto #99 and another debut. It's Bobby Moore with "(Call Me Your) Anything Man." The song would peak at its debut spot.
8/16/80:
Falling from its #81 peak is Foghat and "Stranger In My Home Town."

Debuting at the bottom, and only peaking two spots higher, are the Moments and "Lucky Me."
8/21/82:
100. 87. Larry Elgart & His Manhattan Swing Orchestra "Hooked On Swing" (#31) 99. 86. Rolling Stones "Going To A Go-Go" (#25)
Now, at #98, and falling from its #65 peak, is Aldo Nova and "Foolin' Yourself."
8/16/86:
Level 42's #7 song "Something About You" fell from #92 to #100. We now present a band from Minneapolis who won the Star Search grand prize in '85 named Limited Warranty. Their song "Victory Lane" wasn't much of a victory, though, as it fell from #81 to #99 after peaking at #79.

Falling from its #96 peak to #100 is a 6-man band from London named Charlie. Here's "Turning To You."
8/27/83:
Martin Briley's #36 record "The Salt Of My Tears" dropped from #91 to the bottom. Now, here's Kenny Rogers and "Scarlet Fever." It dropped from its #94 peak, but went to #5 country.

Anne Murray's top 10 Beatles cover "You Won't See Me" fell from #95 to #100. Now, the chairman of the board, Francis Albert Sinatra and "You Turned My World Around." It fell from #94 to #99 after a #83 peak.
8/29/87:
Falling from its #83 peak is Level 42 and the title cut of their album Running In The Family.
