Now it's 1/15/83. How long have they had that one on there, or is it new? It's been there since February.

Yes, it's kinda strange that they added the show that Star 107.9 played a week and a half ago. They usually add recent "official" broadcasts. Now they are back on the top of the list with 6/7/86.

They just started playing 07/24/71. According to my tracking that would mean they skipped 3-70's shows sometime in the last couple days.
They had some technical difficulties and started this show over 20 minutes late so maybe that is playing into it.

They are glitching all over the place. Supposedly they glitched into 07/29/78 but now they are playing the top 100 of 78 part 2 which is near the top of the list. the dust will have to settle before we know what's going on. UPDATE: Now they have glitched into 05/12/79. That makes at least 4 different shows in one.

They are playing guess which year we'll play next as they've played parts from 4 different 80's shows also 1/18/86, 7/25/87, 7/19/80 & are currently in the Top 5 from 5/21/88

So for the last 24 hours every show has been messed up. They have all been mash ups of multiple shows and they aren't even starting at the correct times now. The last 70's mashed up show started over an hour and a half ago which is a little over an hour early. I emailed Iheart about the issues so hopefully they do something about it before they try to add more shows. I can imagine that would only compound the problem.
EDIT: I just realized that they ARE trying to add more shows. They are currently playing 5/28/77 but it started out as the The Top Hits of 72, and then it switched to 1/30/71 and who knows there might have been another one thrown in the mix while I wasn't listening. I'm not sure if 5/28/77 is the first show they were trying to add at the bottom of this cycle but I think it is. I've been monitoring it fairly closely for the last day.

So they must be running from the top of the next cycle now. The bottom of the last cycle they were playing mash-ups of all the countdowns near the bottom of the current list but they did play some of 5/28/77 which would be a new show. 6/3/72 got completely skipped at the top of the list though. This may mean that that show was removed.
They are off of their normally schedueled time starts and they are playing back to back 70's so we'll see what happens next.

Breaking news they have a new announcer for in between shows. They also announced that for the 4th of July week celebrating the 45th anniversary of AT40 they will be airing the Year-End shows from 70-87. Which to that I say if it's not the Top 100 or whole show why bother as they air them weekly anyway.

At that time it was only the Top 40 for the 70s and Top 50 for the 80s.
