Just caught some of it (it aired on the east coast an hour ago). Casey's voice as Peter sounded more like his animated voices (Shaggy, Robin) than his AT40 voice.

Just a quick heads up tonight on The CW there playing Here Comes Peter Cottentail. KTLA Channel 5's start time was 8 PM Pacific, saw every minute, even though I bought the DVD for $5 at Wal-Mart two years ago, it is always nice to see Casey Kasem's name painted on that tree in its opening credits! Did he ever mention this voiceover appearance during his AT40 run?

This was a Rankin/Bass production-Those are the same folks that brought us "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer".

Did he ever mention this voiceover appearance during his AT40 run? No idea, but next weekend features the show broadcast the weekend this premiered, with the chart from that year's Easter Weekend. Of course, the year I'm talking about - is 1971.

Thanks, another perfect time to mention it was when Casey Kasem talked about Vincent Price and his spoken word on "Thriller" before "Beat It" by Michael Jackson from the May 28th, 1983, American Top 40 Countdown show!
