I noticed that Allison has been making apperances on American Top 40 lately. I was listening to the show on Sunday, and Allison was calling about Britney Spears, Christina Aguerilla, Lalapolooza about getting tickets for those shows, and all of them have canceled their tours. I loved it when she called about Air Supply, and the guy on the other end hang up the phone. I heard earlier today, that Air Supply is playing at the Jerome-Duncan Ford theatre this coming Sunday here in Detroit. Maybe Allison can call the Jerome-Duncan Ford Theatre about getting tickets to see Air Supply there. Also, how is Allison connected to Ryan?

Was this the same one who called a cafeteria regarding food that made her sister sick (or something like that) and copped that attitude with them (saying "yeah, whatever" multiple times and such)? I couldn't stand that little brat! I sure hope she's changed her attitude.

This is one segment I wish Ryan would not make a regular feature on AT40.
Look soundbites from performers no nutinn's yea I expected that more/less from Ryan Seacrest, but this eight year old "Jerky Girl?" I am not surprised that Seacrest is busted yet.
Everytime he does this crap I turn it off. I also heard that Allison is featured on his morning show on KIISFM.
I just wish he kept it their. NOOOOOOOO he has to present this girl to the world.
If she truly has a future in radio then more power to her.
If he keeps doing this I may stop listening to AT40, but I guess I am not Ryan's target audience. He really does a good job, but he shoudl leave something like this to Rick Dees. I guess Dees did not want Allison.

I've been keeping quiet about this, but Don's post urged me to post. He's 110% correct. Little Allie is a horrendous feature. It's childish (pardon the pun) and just plain unfunny. My biggest problem with it, however, is that that kind of feature has NEVER been what AT40 is about...in any incarnation.
True, the no-nuthin's are excessive, but I can put up with those. Little Allie, on the other hand, has GOT to go.

That template is the artists, their songs, and the stories behind them. It does not matter if he uses accuallties of those artists these days unlike Casey Kasem. The audience likes that or at least the audience that Ryan wants to target. For the most part he stuck to that, but Little Allie breaks that format all together.

Exactly. Little Allie just isn't what AT40 is about. She's perfectly fine for a "Morning Zoo" type AM-drive show, but not for AT40, which has always been about the music first. Ryan does a good job with the show...but he needs to remember the show's history and what it's known for...and not try to turn that upside down entirely, which Little Allie does.

Ryan does understand the show's history or should I say the way Casey Kasem does it. Remember for about a decade Casey did a carbon copy of AT40. I am talking about Casey's years with Westwood One, and his Casey's Top 40/Countdown/Hot 20 shows. Seacrest's old station WSTR did carry Casey's Top 40 for awhile. I think Casey and/or Don Bustany should have a good talk to Ryan Seacrest. It is Bustany himself that said that AT40 would run for a long time unless mismanged. ABC Radio made their mistakes and the orginal AT40 died, and Shadoe did not have any say in the creativey while he was the host of the show. It appears that Premiere is giving Seacrest some control of the show, and for the most part its good. Seacrest does not do credits anymore or tells us that AT40 is a produced by Premiere. However they did make sure that Casey and Bustany got their creation credits which he did not do for awhile after he discontuined doing credits. I sent a e-mail to Ryan box but it looks like I am just a voice crying in the wildness. Now if Ryan's audience REALLY LOVES Little Allison and her crank calls that Ryan wants her to make than shame on THEM and not Ryan...myabe both. After all in radio you got to give your audience what they want and tell them that you did it. Sad but true.
