On the one hand, rest in peace finally Casey.
On the other hand, what a travesty! If the goal was to strip the man of his dignity and be spiteful to those who loved him, congratulations it's been done.
Unfortunately, to treat a person that way is not love for the man.
I hope his kids and close friends remember him for the love and enjoyment he gave to millions, along with good moments they can personally treasure.

^He could still be relocated depending on the elder-abuse case against Jean back in California.
The indignity and spite occurred before he passed.

I think I read that Jean Kasem has contemplated a move to Norway.

Not sure what bearing it has, but Jean asked a county judge in Washington state to release whatever of Casey's medical records are still reportedly controlled by Kerri. She and her siblings don't object to the request, her attorney told the AP, but it will be spring till the court proceeding occurs. NY Daily NewsdL

This is so sad, but it appears Jean will get away with everything. Words can not describe how much of a vile, disgusting, horrible, disgraceful person Jean Thompson is. Only hope when this court saga is finished, Casey's remains will be brought back to Forest Lawn (where we all believe he wanted to be), so an appropriate legendary memorial could be built for this man who gave us all so much joy and happiness. You could almost compare this to a soldier dying overseas and his remains not found for years, then being brought back and given a proper burial.

I saw the picture in Friday's edition of The NY Daily News-This is a real slap in the face for ardent Casey Kasem fans.

I think I read that Jean Kasem has contemplated a move to Norway. Perhaps, but she also reportedly claims Norwegian ancestry which has been denied by others in her family. Supposedly Casey told her that Norway is a peaceful, beautiful country ("symbolizes peace and looks like heaven", she claims he said), which it is, but he apparently never went there while alive so it's hard to believe that he really wanted to be buried there in light of his on-file wish to be buried in Los Angeles. More geographical head-scratching: Casey's death certificate claims residence in Jerusalem, another place Kerri says he never went to. Whoever filed it (Jean?) didn't even spell his middle name right.
