Even though this is not spam or another a tabloid related article, JibJab included Casey as part of their celebrities who died this year in the pearly gates in their annual year in review (set to the tune of Beethoven's Ode to Joy) video around the 1:07 mark.

CBS Sunday Morning had a similar tribute. They had a long segment (seems like it went on for at least 20 minutes) detailing those who passed away in 2014. I was hoping Casey would be mentioned and given a little recognition but it was not to be. The only thing was a small picture of him in a collage of others in the closing seconds of the story. I thought for sure he'd be mentioned as the host Charles Osgood is known for having a radio show as well.
Entertainment Tonight weekend advertised a retrospect of those who passed away also but I didn't get a chance to see if Casey was mentioned. Anyone?
