On this weekend edition of American Top 40, they did a montage of all 14 of Britney Spears' Top 40 hit. That was the first time that I have heard a montage on AT40 in years. It threw me off when I heard that montage of Britney's hits.

Late last year -- or was it the first show of 2004 --, they had a medley of different versions of a Cat Stevens' song, "The First Cut Is The Deepest".

It used to have been my favorite feature during my early days of listening AT40 back in mid 80's and then for some reason disappeared.
It's really shame it's not used more.
The only show using it on frequent basis is Rick Dees Weekly Top 40.
