Just noticed there will be this Special. If you hear of anyone playing it, can you post here?

There was a Web outage for a couple of hours last night. The Y2K link is good to go, but I see that pamelajaye is on the case. Thanks!

The Most Memorable Events in Rock and Roll History! Labor Day Monday, September 1, 2014 9:00AM-12NOON! Was the show a three-hour show originally? If not, are they just chopping off Hour 1, or running it without commercials so it fits in the three-hour slot, or what?

Hmmm. I think it was 3 hours. Sad I can't remember since I just listened less than 2 months ago.

The Y2K looks as if it were always a three-hour show. I won't be listening to it before it airs, but the song list can certainly fit in a three-hour presentation.

Yes, it was originally a three-hour show, so theoretically it should be able to run with no edits (I would think that there hasn't been that much of a change in commercial load since December 1999).

True, but I think based on some people around here it's necessary to say WE DO NOT KNOW IF THERE WILL BE EDITS OR NOT. THERE COULD BE, THERE COULD NOT BE.

Thanks. I presume that it was three hours long so they could run it on all three of Casey's shows. Yeah, I'm definitely going to check that one out on WODC on Monday morning.

Does anyone remember this show airing back when it was originally produced? Even 14 years ago, I can't imagine CHR and many Hot AC stations airing it given the playlist. And it was an optional show to air over the New Years weekend. A great show for fans but not necessarily a show friendly to radio formats.
Also, there was no AT10 yet, both the AC and Hot AC show were still AT20 at this time
