On ABC's The View, Kerri recounted the whole shocking story... apparently Jean and her legal team are after the kids' trust funds... and his remains are reportedly still in Washington state, not headed for Forest Lawn Memorial Park as he requested... ABC NewsdL

My understanding is this piece of work (Jean) was trying to land a reality show of some kind. I will tell you now, ANY network that airs a show by her and possibly goes for the entire family of networks they own...I will NEVER watch again. Not just "oh I won't watch until this show is gone." No. I'll never watch again because I'm not supporting people who have no class, dignity, or shame when it comes to programming.

Supposedly Jean Kasem wanted a part on "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills", while Casey was alive and I think before the public knew how ill he was (presumably he would have done what he could to not be seen or heard on the show in his condition.) Any attempt now to do something like that would be, if anything, even worse, as there's no good justification for reliving this whole saga in any way.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding this all, but is Jean seriously considering her own reality show over the legal battle over Casey, to portray her as the sympathetic one in this whole legal mess?
If I were a judge, I'd demand her to allow her children to have their trust funds and then put a big fat gag order on her … or she goes to jail. Simple as that!
(Unfortunately, it's not as simple as that, but still … )

What if GSN reacquires the Syndicated Family Feud with Ray Combs with Jean Kasem as a celebrity during the Funny Men vs. Funny Women week from February 1989? Are you going to boycott GSN if that happens? Do you no longer watch Cheers now? As for the episode of Family Feud I have on the Internet, I am going to be deleting it eventually - as a means of retaliation for Jean Kasem's behavior. But I won't be boycotting GSN ever. I will if GSN decides to switch to all-21st century junk. And if GSN does reacquire Family Feud with Ray Combs, I just won't tune in during the week(s) that Jean Kasem does appear. Jean Kasem is just money hungry and mean.

There is a difference between airing a show she appeared on in the course of it's existence and a show FEATURING her in a regular role.
As for GSN, haven't watched it in months so I couldn't care less what they pick up. Cheers is one of my all time favorite shows. No, I won't stop watching it when I get the wild hair to watch and no, I won't be boycotting any network it airs on. I'd expect them to air the series in it's entirety.

I only saw Ghostbusters once in the theaters in 1984, and maybe a movie rental no later than 1985. I was 11 in 1984, and never paid close attention to celebrities back then. Maybe I had (and still have) no interest in movies right from the start.

On the Family Feud episode where Jean appears, the charity the women were playing for was "Justice For Homicide Victims". Irony, perhaps??
