I turned on WBQB (B-101.5) this morning and I did NOT hear Casey Kasems AT20 show. Does anyone know if they have dropped it or moved it? It was always a staple on that station.....strange. And they just recently started streaming in the last year or so. I've listened to it there on sunday since the 90's. At least WINC (winchesters, va) still airs it. B101.5 hasn't been playing AT20 for about a year. As Richmond has no Hot AC of its own, I'd rely on the occasional fringe coming from Fredericksburg to help me out. Now, it's either listen to Nenad online or settle for AT10 on Richmond's AC station or AT40 on the Pop station.

When I recently got the chance to hear an AT20 show I heard a lot of rock-oriented songs, even in the extras, where songs by Stone Temple Pilots or Live were played. Is the American Hot AC really as much rock-oriented as the AT20 show? The only songs with a more rhythm oriented attitude were the 2 Lady Gaga songs that seemed to have crossed over from top 40.

That is an excellent question Peter! I would recommend that you consult the Pulse Hot AC music board where fans post the charts for all of the top shows each week (Rick Dees, AT 40, AT 20, Mediabase and Radio and Records). It is common for people to post comments one way or the other about the nuances of these charts. Try the link below and good luck. pulsemusic.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=aaa

You can also goto: americasmusiccharts.com an see what the AT20 top20 is. Keep in mind, the show is a week behind the chart. Like the chart posted right now will be NEXT weeks AT-20 an not this weekends show.

With just 4 shows left, it appears that WMVX/Cleveland dropped AT20 as of this week. Even if the show continued, I didn't expect them to air it much longer. Last week, only two of the songs in the Top 20 were on their playlist. Still, you would think they would have finished it out.

I guess WMVX decided to nix all of their syndication, as Backtrax USA was also dropped as of this week. A big bummer, but also nice to see that it wasn't anything against Casey - they just dropped it all.

Another update... I guess WMVX just decided to move AT20. It is airing right now in a new time slot, Sunday night 9-Midnight. I guess it's just Backtrax that got dropped. Still, sad it's almost over.
